Joan Myers, CIM, FCSI
Senior Vice President, Investment Advisor and Financial Planner
Joan began her career in the investment industry in 1994, when she joined BMO Nesbitt Burns (formerly Nesbitt Thompson Inc.). She and her team joined Wellington West Capital Inc. in November 2007. A proponent of education, Joan has achieved the designation of Certified Investment Manager and Fellow of the Canadian Securities Industry.
A native Albertan, Joan moved to Calgary in 1979. Prior to her move, Joan spent seven years in Fort McMurray, and has firsthand experience with the challenges facing Alberta as the province develops and exploits the Canadian oil sands. She is a former director and past chair of Calgary Family Services as well as a former director and vice president of Heritage Park Foundation. Joan continues to give back to her community through more informal methods, and dedicates most of her time to working with her clients to help them achieve their financial and life goals.
Jeremy Dahms , BA
Investment Advisor & Financial Planner
Jeremy Dahms joined The Myers Group at BMO Nesbitt Burns in 2001, and joined Wellington West Capital Inc. in 2007 as a partner with The Myers Group. Jeremy’s career in the financial services industry spans 15 years and includes wealth management with one of Canada's leading national banks. Jeremy provides investment advice, financial planning and retirement planning services to investors through The Myers Group’s Wellington West offices in Calgary and takes pride in his reputation of generating sound, client-driven advice.
Jeri Cripps
Associate
Jeri Cripps provides excellent administrative, organizational and client service skills. Jeri joined the industry in 1994. She is a licensed Investment Representative who services all of our clients’ administrative needs as well as executing trades if required.
Marcie Barnby
Associate & Office Administrator
As the newest member of The Myers Group, Marcie rounds out the team by providing additional administrative assistance for clients. Marcie is a licensed Investment Representative who services client needs as well as being in charge of the administration of the Southport office.
