Wellington West Clearsight Friend Of Education Award
Wellington West Clearsight proudly sponsors the annual Friend of Education Award presented by the Canadian Council for the Advancement of Education (CCAE).
The Wellington West Clearsight Friend of Education Award honours outstanding service or commitment to post-secondary or independent school education by a volunteer, organization, foundation, corporation or publication. The recipient(s) will have made a significant contribution in a leadership role to the cause of institutional advancement or education in Canada.
This year’s deserving recipients are Norman and Pat Webster.
As President of the R. Howard Webster Foundation, a respected journalist and volunteer, Norman Webster has been a constant advocate and supporter of education at many levels. The R.H. Webster Foundation reports annual gifts and grants of almost $5 million to charities across Canada.

Pat Webster is a pioneer in bilingual education, as the founding President of Canadian Parents for French, an organization dedicated to promoting and creating French-second-language opportunities for young Canadians across the country. Pat has been an active fundraiser for causes about which she feels passionate, and has raised millions in aid of education and the Arts.
Individually, Norman Webster and Pat Webster are worthy recipients of the
Wellington West Clearsight Friend of Education Award. Together, they are an outstanding team who personify true friends of education.
